375ai & Akave Partner to Build Verifiable Edge Intelligence

375ai is building a new data layer for the physical world, where intelligence is captured, processed, and verified at the edge. Today we’re thrilled to announce a first integration with Akave Cloud, an enterprise-grade, S3-compatible object storage solution purpose built for edge and AI.
The 375ai network captures and transforms large quantities of real world data into actionable insights in real time. Akave enables us to store these insights with data integrity guarantees, low latency and high performance.
By leveraging Akave's object interfaces and modular architecture, 375ai ensures that collected data is securely stored with high durability and cost efficiency, while managing the data flow into Akave’s decentralized network at the point of capture increasing efficiency and security.
How it works
While 375ai currently uses Akave Cloud’s managed storage for a technical pilot, the diagram below outlines our target architecture for a deeper 375ai / Akave integration, one that reflects our shared goal of building a fully decentralized, verifiable data pipeline.

In this model, 375edge devices capture and process multimodal data at the source, including video, audio, and environmental data. The resulting insights are then aggregated by 375vault nodes, which maintain a distributed data lake designed for secure propagation and long-term retention.
As part of our roadmap, these 375vault nodes will run Akave’s O3 gateway locally, onboarding data into the Akave Network with our own encryption keys. This design ensures 375ai maintains complete data sovereignty and security.
The data is then sharded, chunked, and erasure-coded across Akave storage nodes, with redundant backups stored on Filecoin for added durability. Existing datasets from our historical S3-based lake can also be mirrored into Akave with a simple copy command via the O3 gateway with no reformatting required.
Akave’s indexing architecture allows 375ai to enable per query access, supporting programmatic data monetization and seamless integration of datasets into data marketplaces.
The Road Ahead
This integration with Akave introduces new and improved data infrastructure for managing edge AI workloads. Together, we’re enabling:
- Secure and sovereign data pipelines – complete encryption and ownership.
- Faster time-to-monetization – real-time data readiness in <24 hours.
- Verifiable provenance – every dataset cryptographically signed and traceable.
As Akave scales to serve a growing spectrum of AI applications, its integration with the 375ai edge network, active across Los Angeles and soon in New York Metro and South Florida, showcases a powerful use case: turning live, multimodal data into verifiable, real time intelligence at the edge.
About the Companies
375ai Overview
375ai is an edge intelligence platform operating one of the largest distributed networks of on-prem and in-field devices across the U.S., currently deployed in over 40,000 retail, industrial, and logistics locations. Their AI-driven edge nodes process multimodal sensor and video data locally, enabling privacy-preserving insights with minimal bandwidth requirements. 375ai’s mission is to make real-world environments measurable and actionable in real time by bringing AI inference closer to the source of data.
Akave Overview
Akave is an enterprise-grade, decentralized object storage platform designed for verifiable, compliant, and cost-efficient data retention. Built with a fully S3-compatible interface and powered by an immutable ledger for auditability, Akave combines erasure-coded redundancy, client-side encryption, and secure Filecoin cold storage. Its modular O3 gateway enables customers to deploy storage anywhere, while maintaining full data sovereignty, verifiability, and interoperability with existing tools like Spark, DuckDB, and Snowflake.
